Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Daytona Beach Computer Repair(“FieldBench”, “we”) handles information in connection with the FieldBench service (the “Service”). It covers two different roles: (1) the information we handle about you, the business that subscribes (our customer), and (2) the information a subscribing business stores about its own customers(“Customer Data”), which we process on that business’s behalf as a service provider/processor.

Information we collect about our customers

  • Account & contact: business name, owner name, email, phone, and login credentials (passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in plain text).
  • Billing: subscription status and payment method are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we receive limited billing metadata, not full card numbers.
  • Usage & device: log data such as pages accessed, actions taken, IP address, and browser/device type, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Support: messages you send us.

Customer Data (data our customers put in)

Subscribing businesses store records about their own customers and jobs — names, contact details, addresses, devices/assets, appointments, notes, estimates, invoices, and payment records; and, where enabled, call recordings and message logs. We process this Customer Data only to provide, secure, and support the Service, under the instructions of the business that owns it. That business is responsible for the lawfulness of its data and for its own privacy notices to its customers.

How we use information

To provide and maintain the Service; authenticate users and enforce tenant isolation; process subscription billing; send service and transactional communications; provide support; detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; comply with law; and improve the Service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to build advertising profiles.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We share information with vendors only as needed to run the Service, under confidentiality obligations. These currently include, for example: Stripe (subscription and payment processing), a hosting/server provider, an email/SMTP provider, a telephony/SMS provider (e.g., Telnyx) for calls and texts you send, and mapping/geocoding (e.g., Google Maps) for addresses and routing.

Communications, calls, and texts

When a business uses the Service to text, email, or record calls, those communications are handled through the providers above. Call recording, where enabled, is controlled by the business and is subject to the consent/disclosure requirements described in our Terms — Florida and other states require all-party consent to record.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive secrets (such as payment keys and access credentials), hashed passwords, signed session cookies, and strict per-business tenant isolation so one business cannot access another’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond to incidents.

Data retention

We keep account and Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period; afterward we may delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course, subject to backups that age out on a rolling schedule and any legal retention requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete data from within the Service, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information; we will honor applicable rights and respond to verified requests. Customer’s own end users should direct requests to the business that holds their records.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember which business you are working in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email and take effect on the stated date.
